Thai Airways has listed 34 aircraft for sale including entire fleet of Boeing 747 as part of restructuring process.
The flag carrier of Thailand has listed Airbus A300-600, two Boeing 737-400, three Airbus A340-500, six Airbus A340-600, ten Boeing 747-400, six Boeing 777-200 and six Boeing 777-300.
The airline has been in financial difficulty long before the COVID pandemic and reported a loss of $900m for the first half of this year.
Thai Airways has been unprofitable with a huge debt, and has been undergoing a bankruptcy reorganization since May 2020
Currently only 8 out of a fleet of 75 aircraft are on service.
