Hungarian low-cost airline with its head office in Budapest, Wizz Air has taken delivery of their first Airbus A320neo, airframe registered HA-LJA.
The aircraft powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines was ferried from Hamburg (XFW) to Budapest. The first revenue flight as W62203 took off to London Luton Airport.
The delivery brings the carrier’s overall fleet to 122 jets, all of which are Airbus single-aisle types.
The airline has a further 64 of the type on order and is planning to have seven A320neos by the end of the current fiscal year.
